Leo Wang, PhD, MBA
President         

Leo is the President and Founder of Cambridge Invest, a New York based investment advisory firm specializing in China.  He has invested globally for senior executives of Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, UBS and the Federal Reserve.  He has also advised leading U.S. and European companies on investing in China, and has advised top-tier Chinese companies on cross-border transactions.  Leo is a Strategic Advisor on foreign investments to the City of Wuhan, the largest city in central China with a population of 9 million.  He served as the Chief Financial Officer of a leading Chinese company listed in the U.S., where he oversaw the company's successful restructuring and merger with a U.S. public company.  He also held investment management positions at a New York based hedge fund focusing on emerging markets, and at Fleet Boston Financial Corp. (now merged with Bank of America).  Previously, Leo was an economic advisor to the Norwegian Ministry of Finance on China.  His experience spans a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals, auto & auto parts, renewable energy, industrials, consumer products, real estate and retail.  Leo holds an MBA in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a PhD in economics from the University of Oslo, and was a NSF Scholar at Harvard UniversityBorn and raised in China, he is fluent in Chinese, English and several European languages. 
 

Min Chen, Esq.
Vice President, China Operations         

Min is an AAA-rated senior attorney and former managing partner of a Chinese law firm.  She has advised some of the earliest and most influential foreign investment transactions in China.  With more than 20 years of experience as an attorney, she specializes in corporate finance and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, foreign direct investment and cross-border transactions.  One of the first to obtain a lawyer’s license in China, Min is certified as a Chief Lawyer jointly by the Chinese Ministry of Justice and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.  Experienced in deal origination and management, Min leads our operations in China. 
 

Karl Weiss, PhD

Dr. Karl Weiss is a Senior Advisor at Cambridge Invest.  He is also Chairman of the Board at Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC), a development agency dedicated to renewable energy and innovation, which is responsible for one-quarter of all jobs in Massachusetts.  MTC administers the Renewable Energy Trust.  He was also Chairman of the Board of Councilors of the Integrated Media Systems Center at University of Southern California.  He served as Vice Provost and Vice President of Northeastern University as well as Chairman and Professor of the Chemistry Department, and was a consultant to Eastman Kodak Research Laboratories.  He holds a B.S. degree from Columbia University and a Ph.D. from New York University, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Northeastern University.  
 

Xiaolin Zhou, Esq.
Senior Advisor          

In addition to being a Senior Advisor at Cambridge Invest, Mr. Zhou is a partner of Jun He Law Offices and the managing partner of its New York Office.  He specializes in corporate and securities law, foreign investment in China and project finance.  With 20 years of experience, Mr. Zhou has advised many Fortune 500 corporations, banks, insurance companies, foreign law firms and international organizations.  He also regularly advises Chinese entities and individuals on doing business in the U.S.  Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Zhou served for six years as the Head of International Law Division at the Department of Treaty & Law of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  He also served as a consultant to the Chinese Delegation to the United Nations General Assembly and as a Chinese delegate to the UN Legal Committee, Outer-space Legal Subcommittee and UN Charter Committee.  In addition, he has participated in numerous international negotiations and conferences, and has handled major judicial and arbitration cases involving Chinese government agencies and enterprises in foreign courts and arbitral tribunals.  Mr. Zhou holds a J.D. and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and an LL.M. from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.  A member of the State Bar of New York and the All-China Bar Association, he is fluent in Chinese and English.
